Interdisciplinary Care
Vascular Anomalies Clinics (VAC’s) is an extensive interdisciplinary team. The physicians collaborate to evaluate patients, often meeting once a month or sometimes weekly depending on the facility. Disciplines represented in a VAC team can include any combination of the following: dermatology, genetics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, cardiology, interventional radiology, gastroenterology, pulmonary, endocrinology, pathology, hematology, pediatric surgery, plastic surgery.
